I am a born-again Christian. We don't reach our spiritual goals by being parrots.  I believe that attraction, not promotion, should be the impetus for all things spiritual.  Ask me why I am happy, joyous, and free and I will be happy to tell you.  I respect your right to your own beliefs and hope we can be friends.

I have enjoyed several areas of employment, the first of which was nursing assistant in a small hospital in Northern Louisiana.  I was trained as a Nationally Certified Emergency Technician, non-ambulance.  This simply meant that I worked in the Emergency Room.  I moved on to working in a factory in South Arkansas (more money) making fuel cells for fighter planes.  I then went to another hospital and worked in the Purchasing Departent.  After early retirement, I worked for the State of Tennessee, with developmentally challenged persons.  This was perhaps the most challenging and interesting job I ever held.  I am now going into Internet/Affiliate Marketing.  I will also do some ghostwriting. 

Now, I am retired (again) and loving it.  Mother of 4, grandmother of 11 (one deceased) and great-grandmother of two. 

I like road trips, camping (though I don't get to do much of that), quilting, reading, and spending time with my family.  

I love life and do not want to waste one minute on negative pursuits. I love to write, but have never written for the public.  I am hoping, by joining the hubpages community, that I can improve my skills.
